Manchester Storm Research

1998 Supporter Survey

This survey was conducted towards the end of the 1997/98 ice hockey season, in an attempt to gauge some of the opinions and patterns of support of Manchester Storm supporters attending games at the Manchester Evening News Arena. A total of 1,500 questionnaires where distributed either by hand or by post, with a version of the questionnaire also posted on the Internet. This research was a joint venture between the Institute of Social Research at the University of Salford and the official Manchester Storm Supporters Club — Stormforce — with the knowledge and support of Manchester Storm.
